I'm aching all over right now, and I blame YOU, New Years Resolutions... Driven by slightly expanding waistlines and muffin-tops grown larger by a very social Christmas season, my husband and I decided that this year, we'd get fit... or fitter, in his case. I have been on and off the fitness train for many years, mostly sporadically since Master 5 came along, I must admit. But THIS year, well this year would be different. We decided to do it TOGETHER! I have never trained with anyone before so this decision was met with some trepidation... but I knew that our competitive spirits would work to our advantage so we're throwing ourselves into this, head first. So for the last month we have been doing Crossfit WODs (Workout of the Day, for the uninitiated) and slowly understanding the terminology. AMRAPs and EMOTM are no longer a foreign language to us, and we are getting quite well acquainted with Burpees, V-ups, power cleans and kettlebell swings. Not to mention, sweat. Buckets and buckets of sweat. Feels great to be exercising regularly again, and after just a few weeks, we're both feeling fitter and stronger, although a little sore and tired. How are you going with your New Years Resolutions? For the final day of the Kindy fundraising shoots, we had a fantastic turn-out! So many gorgeous happy families (including one beloved family dog!) I absolutely LOVED meeting so many friendly faces from the community. The weather held out for as long as possible but we did end up running for cover during the last few shoots of the day, dodging showers and making the most of little breaks in the rain while we could. Some of my favourites from the day: What a fabulous day! If you enjoyed this, you might also like:

These are all very beautiful photos. I'm really inclined to help out as well, because of your talent in photography. They are a very beautiful group of people. Hopefully, you were able to reach your fundraising goal. I'm really interested in seeing your other photos from the other days.
