So we're 5 weeks into the new school term, and I tell you what - my kids are already tired... I don't know if its just settling back in, or the after school sport, or what. I make a solid effort to get them in bed by 7.30-8pm every night, but by morning they are ratty, crabby, cranky and eye-rolly all in one. It takes at least an hour each morning to get them going, and that's with me constantly on their case!
Getting dressed in the mornings requires at least half and hour, and at least 5 reminders to stay on track. One sock will get put on, and they spend the next 5 minutes arguing with each other over something. Or rolling about on the lounge. Or cuddling the dog. Or reading something... Still with just one sock on. Does this sound familiar to you? Breakfast is another challenge entirely - don't get me started on that!
Mums and dads, I'm asking you - is this happening at your place too???!!! Is there a secret to getting them ready on time in the mornings? How do you manage it? Because I'm at my wits end - any tips gratefully accepted!
Little Lily came to the studio recently for her newborn session - and she was amazing!! This 14 day old sweetheart made my job so easy - she slept like a dream and did everything I asked of her, and more! I loved these colours on her too - thank you for the cuddles, little miss!
