Its pretty intense around here at the moment with preparations for Mother's Day well under way. It starts with one of the little ones creeping into my office area and "stealing" my sticky tape. Quickly followed by requests for scissors, brown paper bags and paint, and a hive of activity for the next 20 minutes. This process seems to repeat every couple of days, and I would honestly think this was all seriously cute if I didn't happen to walk into the lounge room half an hour later to find the carnage from all this preparation. Seems they got bored with it and ran outside to play! Apparently I'm being treated to a Mother's Day puppet show on the big day... although miss 7 was very disappointed to discover that her best friend from school would not be coming to our house to help her present it! Master 5 is again thrilled with the concept of doing special things for mummy... this week he was given some money to spend at the school Mother's Day stall... he was so excited to spend money all by himself on a gift for me (while I stood a suitable distance away and tried not to watch). After making his big decision and handing over his cash, he came running up to me, holding his gift up to me shouting "Mummy, look what I bought you!" Haha, 5 year olds are terrible at keeping secrets! Cant wait for the big day :) I love it when families return for another family portrait session! Its like catching up with old friends and I especially love seeing how much the kids have grown and changed. Jen and Anthony returned for another session recently where I got to meet the newest addition to the family! We had a lovely morning exploring the Gold Coast Botanic Gardens and little Teddy and Tom were too cute! Here are some of the favourites from this day: Thank you Mogg family for such a lovely morning!
