I've done some crazy things with my hair in my time... I remember one time, after changing my hair colour and style YET AGAIN, a work colleague asked me if I'd done it "as a dare"... I'm naturally "mousy brown" with a few greys creeping in... but over the years I've been black, white-blonde, had electric blue streaks, purple hair extensions, I sported a bright orange slash in a dark brown bob for a long time. I used to colour it ginger for years - I've chopped it all off, worn it stuck out, worn it smooth and sleek, permed, teased, fringe/no fringe... phew! But ever since having kids, I've pretty much just stuck to the one thing. Dark brown shoulder length. Wear it in a pony-tail every day because its easy. It doesn't get in the way. It doesn't require thinking or any work. And I was so bored with it. So the other week when we all went to get our hair-cut, I got the chop! Ok so its nothing drastic, but quite a bit shorter than it has been for a long time - and there is nothing quite like a new "do" to make you feel better about yourself, is there? So maybe I should go back to some wild hair colours again? Our final sessions from the Tamborine Mountain kindy fundraiser were awesome! Lots more lovely families and a fun moments captured. Here's some of our favourites from these sessions... If you enjoyed this you might also like:
