Parents - the end of school term is almost here! (And for some of you, its already here!) How are you coping? Today I am enjoying my last child-free day for 6 weeks, and its been head-down, bum-up getting through my editing pile without interruption!
This last week of school has been crazy - school awards ceremonies, Christmas concerts, choir performances and assemblies, not to mention all the Christmas parties! Everyone is tired and cranky. I am SO looking forward to not making any school lunches for the next 6 weeks! I must admit, this last week I have dropped the ball with packing lunches - todays effort for Miss 6 consisted of Jatz crackers, a fruit stick, a Le Snack and some Grain Waves chips. Yep - healthy and wholesome all the way! Oh well, it doesn't happen very often!
What are you most looking forward to during the school holidays?
I've had so much fun doing these Fundraising Mini Shoots for our local kindergarten, taken at a beautiful park on Tamborine Mountain. And not only did I get to hang out with a lovely bunch of families, but I got to know more about Master 5's kindy friends in the process! My favourite question to ask 4 year olds is "Do you have a boyfriend/girlfriend?" The answers are often hilarious and usually the parents learn something new too!
Here is a small selection of my favourites from the first session:
Thanks to so many amazing families for sharing a beautiful morning with me!
More from these Fundraising Mini Shoots to come soon!
