We have been in our new home for about 6 weeks now, and things are starting to feel a little more "normal". New routines are feeling a bit more established, I'm slowly getting used to driving up and down the mountain twice a day for the school run. I've got the kids well trained too - the first week or two on the way up, I was a bit nervy with all those twisty, turny bends on the road. The sharp drop offs didn't help either! My rule in the car was "no silliness or loud noises" on the way up so mummy could concentrate... One morning, Mr 4 was carrying on in the backseat, and before I could even say anything, Miss 6 pipes up: "STOP BEING NOISY! Mummy needs us to be quiet otherwise she might run off the side of the mountain and we'll all DIE!" ...ahem... slightly dramatic! One exciting thing that has been happening is my new photography studio is under way! I look forward to sharing some progress photos soon! Today's feature is of Anu, Sangeet and their family. We gathered together on a rainy Friday at a park in Brisbane. Anu was given a family photo shoot as a gift (organised from the UK!), and I was thrilled to meet this lovely family, along with newborn twin baby girls! The rain was patchy, but rescheduling wasn't an option as some family was due to fly home in a few days - so we worked with what we had! That meant huddling under a gazebo to keep the babies dry for their photos (and for some group shots), and taking advantage of short moments of no rain! It all made for a fun morning with such a friendly family, and such beautiful babies! I was also lucky enough to get to have a cuddle at the end of the shoot - thank you so much Anu and Sangeet for sharing a rainy morning with me!
